Accommodation

We are currently a 2 site school.  Our Annexe, located in nearby Bath Street is home to our super Nursery and P1 classes.

Situated directly beside our Main Building is a transportable unit consisting of 2 classroom areas. This is where learning takes place for our P2 pupils.

Our Main Building not only provides classroom accommodation for all our pupils at P3-7 stages, but also holds a fantastic ICT Suite, Library and Gymnasium.

The Grounds of Towerbank.

As well as a large playground, our school can also boast a wonderful Wildlife Garden in which our pupils are involved in both maintaining and enjoying.

We are an Eco Friendly School.

Towerbank registered as an Eco school in April 2002.  Since then we have continually worked very hard towards becoming a completely Eco Friendly school.

We have an Eco Committee who have carefully constructed an action plan for our school.

In June 2002 we were granted our Bronze Award.  Only one year later we succeeded in achieving our Silver Award.

Last session our main focus was our Wildlife Garden.  We also concentrated on recycling and introducing energy saving devices into our school.

We had many guest speakers at our assemblies talking about the importance of our aims and highlighting ways in which we can achieve them.
